Roberta started studying dance at a very young age and trained as a professional contemporary dancer in Italy. Meanwhile, she attended Milan University where she earned a BA in Pedagogy and an MA in English language and literature.
After working as a performer and actress in several productions for adults and children, she began a personal choreographic research, which led her to create various solo pieces, site-specific and improvisation-based performances.
In 2018 she co-founded Kun Collective taking part in all the company`s productions both as choreographer and dancer. The group`s mission is to provide a space for research and collaboration in the field of performing arts – a space open to other professionals, who wish to share their artistic skills in a fertile and receptive environment.
For several years now she has been working as a free-lance artist for different cultural and theatre organizations, combining her work as dancer and performer with her teaching activity, specialising in inclusive dance and community dance/theatre, facilitating workshops and devising performances with socially disadvantaged people (special needs, refugees and immigrants).
She has been teaching pre-school kids for many years now, creating different dance formats in order to inspire children to move and express themselves through dance.
